Tru Gate handles personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), including APP obligations.

We may collect:
- account and contact data,
- rental and profile information,
- uploaded tenancy/identity-related documents,
- service/security metadata,
- payment metadata from Stripe.

We use data to provide services, fraud/security controls, support, and legal compliance.

Subprocessors include:
- Render (hosting),
- Stripe (payments),
- Sentry (error monitoring),
- email service providers.

Data may be processed in Australia and, where required by subprocessors, in overseas regions with reasonable safeguards.

You may request access, correction, or deletion (subject to legal obligations).

If an eligible data breach occurs, Tru Gate will assess and notify affected users and the OAIC where required under the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
